Liquid bulk shipping · Singapore
Sea transport, chartering and offshore transshipment for liquid bulk cargoes between Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and India.
Who we are
NAAVIKA PTE. LTD. is a Singapore shipping company serving producers, refiners and traders who need liquid bulk cargo moved safely and on time between Southeast Asia and South Asia.
We work with a single lane of trade and know it well: the load ports of the Malacca Strait, the passage around Sri Lanka, and the discharge ports of India's east and west coasts. That focus lets us give straight answers on vessels, timing and cost.
What we do
Everything needed for the sea leg of a liquid bulk shipment, arranged by one team.
Full cargoes and parcels on tankers matched to the cargo, its tank coating and handling needs.
Cargo moved between shore and ocean vessel at anchorage, without the ship berthing in port. Arranged with qualified service providers.
Voyage charters, time charters and contracts of affreightment for regular and spot cargoes.
Buying and selling tankers and coastal vessels for owners and investors in the region.
Cargoes
Liquid bulk is any liquid cargo carried loose in a ship's tanks instead of in drums or containers. These are the main types we arrange transport for.
Crude palm oil, palm olein, palm kernel oil, soybean oil, sunflower oil, rapeseed oil
Fatty acids, fatty alcohols, glycerine, palm fatty acid distillate (PFAD)
Biodiesel (FAME), hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), ethanol
Gasoil, diesel, naphtha, base oils and lubricants
Methanol, caustic soda, and other easy-chemical grades
Molasses, latex and other liquid cargoes on request
Each cargo is matched to a vessel with the right tank coating, heating and certification. Ask us about your product.
Trade lanes
From the load ports of Malaysia and Indonesia to India's main import ports, with Singapore as our hub.
| Lane | Load ports | Discharge ports | Distance | Transit at 12 kn |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Malaysia → India west coast | Port Klang, Pasir Gudang | Kandla, Mumbai | ≈ 2,400–2,500 nm | ≈ 8–9 days |
| Malaysia → India east coast | Port Klang, Lumut | Chennai, Kakinada, Haldia | ≈ 1,300–1,700 nm | ≈ 4½–6 days |
| Indonesia → India | Dumai, Belawan | Kakinada, Kandla | ≈ 1,400–2,400 nm | ≈ 5–8½ days |
| Regional | Port Klang, Pasir Gudang | Singapore | ≈ 200 nm | ≈ 1 day |
Lanes are indicative. Distances and transit times are approximate and depend on vessel speed, weather and port schedules.
Safety & quality
Every voyage is planned around two things: keeping the cargo on specification and keeping the operation safe.
Vessels checked for suitability, previous cargoes and tank coating before fixing.
Coating, cleanliness and dryness confirmed by independent surveyors before loading.
Handling and temperature requirements agreed per cargo and monitored through the voyage.
Barge-to-ship and STS transfers only at approved anchorages, with qualified providers and agreed checklists.
How we work
